Hello and welcome! My name is Chelsea Harris.  My goal as a yoga instructor is to empower individuals to embody their most authentic selves, both on and off the mat. With my personalized and holistic approach to yoga, I aim to help my students cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, while supporting their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. I encourage each individual to embrace their unique strengths and challenges, and to explore the transformative power of the mind-body connection. Whether you are interested in improving your physical fitness, reducing stress and anxiety, healthy aging, or simply seeking a more balanced and fulfilling life, I am here to support you on your wellness journey.

My Story

Chelsea Harris is a registered nurse and certified yoga instructor based in Portland, Oregon and has recently completed her 200-hour teacher training. With a psychology background and 15 years of emergency department nursing experience, her goal is to provide a variety of yoga classes including Vinyasa flow, chair yoga for healthy aging, and yoga for parents. Chelsea believes yoga is instrumental in living a healthy, peaceful life as well as navigating stress, anxiety, grief and loss. Additionally, she focuses on holistic wellness and the many health benefits of yoga and meditation. Chelsea currently offers her services to the community at Sellwood Yoga, the residents of Homewoods on the Willamette Retirement Community, and the parents of Treehouse Playschool students.
